Position
Summary: Under the general supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, this highly organized and competent individual manages, directs, and coordinates the activities in the finance areas of Tuomey Healthcare System, including Finance, Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Payroll. This is a leadership opportunity for a team player to be responsible for developing, implementing, directing, and monitoring compliance with the internal controls over financial reporting and budgeting.
Qualifications: Bachelor''s Degree in Accounting required. Master''s Degree in Accounting or related field and CPA preferred. 5 years of experience in comprehensive accounting in a healthcare organization preferred. Microsoft Excel skills are essential. Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and high level of confidentiality.
OSHA Category: Rare exposure to risk of bloodborne diseases (Category II). Rare exposure to risk regarding chemical hazards (Category B).
Physical Requirements: Exerts up to 20 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. frequently. Prolonged standing, sitting, and walking. Performs repetitive tasks/motions.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
