Position
Summary:Primary responsibilities involve taking a leading role in assuring the overall successful implementation and operation of assigned Meditech modules, as well as any related interfaces or other related vendor software. Supports and maintains existing software applications, develops new application solutions with the direct and indirect supervision of the Applications Administrator. Works with customers to develop better work flow and ensures best practices are in place. Assists with and contributes to the strategic planning in relation to the application requirements of Tuomey Healthcare System. Achieves the objectives of projects assigned in the most efficient manner. Takes a lead role in improving on assigned projects and ensuring the chosen path is the best for Information Systems and Tuomey HCS. Investigates all alternatives. Performs in-depth investigations where needed for ways to make the hospital more efficient and productive. This includes proactive research in all areas whether help has been requested or not. Evaluates vendor software solutions and coordinates the actions taken with various users and/or personnel at Tuomey Healthcare System. Takes a lead role in ensuring implementaions take place smoothly and quickly. Learns new software as required. Builds effective relationships within andoutside of the organization. Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively with others. Adapts readily and appropriately to unforeseen challenges.
Qualifications:2-year/Associate''s Degree required;3 to 5 years of clinical experience and/or equivalent analyst experience preferred. Must have high level of confidentiality.
OSHA Category:Rare exposure to risk of bloodborne diseases (Category II). Rare exposure to risk regarding chemical hazards (Category B).
Physical Requirements:Exerts up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly. Prolonged standing, sitting, and walking.
