Position
Summary:Patrols the hospital to protect against fire, theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access. Works to maintain order on hospital property and assist staff as needed.
Qualifications:High school diploma or GED. 1 year of experience preferred. Basic
computer
and typing skills required. Must be 21 years of age to qualify for SLED certification which must be obtained within 15 days of hire. Must be in good physical condition to pass physical training test. Must have high level of confidentiality.
OSHA Category:Regularly exposed to risk of bloodborne diseases (Category I). Rare exposure to risk regarding chemical hazards (Category B).
Physical Requirements:Exert up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly. Prolonged standing, sitting, and walking. Must be able to distinguish colors.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
