Our client, a manufacturer of specialty bearings for industrial applications, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. This position will be based in Sumter, SC.
Duties/Responsibilities- Manufacturing Engineer
Initiates requests for major projects.
Establishes systems for control of project progress, time frame, and cost.
Establish engineering and equipment standards.
Responsible for the setup and maintenance of labor standards.
Design tools, fixtures, and gauging.
Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials.
Analyze engineering changes.
Troubleshoot machinery and equipment problems.
Initiates cost reductions.
Provide technical

Qualifications- Manufacturing Engineer
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering related field.
5 plus years of experience in a manufacturing operation (grinding, cutting, turning, milling).
Prior CNC machinery experience a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
