Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator
Monday - Friday8 AM - 4 PMPayrate $15/HourPosition DescriptionJOB SUMMARY (Briefly describe the job's primary purpose or contribution to the department or organization)This position is responsible for performing a variety of highly confidential environmental, health, safety and training duties for the EHS DepartmentIn addition to scheduling and providing overall customer service, this position performs duties such as coordinating/facilitating meetings and training events, purchasing, and serving as a backup to the Local Process Coordinator.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS1Provide high-level/confidential administrative support for EHS in areas of Training & Safety and other areas as assigned.
2Support associate training & development activities, including data entry into Excel, C2C, & SharePoint, scheduling and coordinating/facilitating onsite and offsite STAR and additional EHS training, compiles and distributes training materials.
3Conduct OnBoarding Orientation for new hires as scheduled.
4Coordinate and facilitate all 'Ancillary Training' for the plant whether either through classroom or Computer Based Training (CBT) venues.
5Perform all related duties associated with Departmental Learning Administrator (DLA) for the Compliance to Capability (C2C) Learning Management System (LMS).
6Enter Engagement Points for the Engineering Safety Team.
7Serve as the Accident Incident Reporting System Administrator via EHS One for the plantResponsible for data entry and creating applicable tracking/trending reports as needed.
8Support Plant Safety Committee/Core Team in the following manner:
aSchedule and attend all monthly meetingsbEnsure room is set up properly for meetings.
cGenerate Monthly Safety Quiz/EHS NewsletterdPrepare monthly metricseAssist with monthly and quarterly audits9Safety Data Sheet Vault Administrator10Assist with PVP team meetings and updates for ECROs.
