Logistics Senior Specialist

Overview LOGITSTICS SENIOR SPECIALIST (AFMDS):
Bowhead is seeking a Logistics Senior Specialist at Shaw AFB, SC to assist 15th Air Force in advising, assisting, advocating, integrating, and certifying (A3IC) its Force Elements at assigned wings and Direct Reporting Units (DRU).
The Logistics Senior Specialist advises and assists the 15 AF/A4 staff on general logistics disciplines to include but not limited to fuels, logistics plans and operations, transportation, supply management, and vehicle management.
Responsibilities Specified tasks include but are not limited to:
Participate as a member of 15 AF Operational Planning Teams.
Assist in the preparation of briefings and presentations as required.
Assist and advise 15 AF/A4 on FE certifying exercise/event planning for logistics support capabilities Reviews reports, performs appropriate research, and prepares detailed responses to logistics related issues Determines recommendations for unresolved logistics issues and performs follow-up Capture, identify, and analyze logistics data to facilitate the assessment and certification of deploying FEs Provide functional expertise in NAF and/or Command and Control operations to include logistics plans and operations, transportation, supply, vehicles, and fuels programs Assess deploying forces in current and predicted operational environments, missions, and requirements.
Support approximately 4 exercises per year.
Attends exercise planning conferences.
Support approximately 4 conferences per year Assist with other assigned staff A3IC tasks to support 15 AF mission directives.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Knowledge of DOD, Air Force, and NAF logistics management principles, policies, procedures Ability to identify, analyze, and translate information, make appropriate judgments, and evaluate options Skilled in reviewing, evaluating, and presenting data; and supporting analysis of logistics management programs and activities Secret security clearance
Qualifications:
10 years of in-depth knowledge and experience in logistics management Experience in Logistics Plans and Operations, Transportation, Supply, Vehicles, and Fuels programs Experience in field training exercises Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university 1 year of end-user experience in Air Force readiness reporting platforms (DRRS, DCAPES) 2 years of experience on a NAF or higher staff 5 years joint or service component planning experience Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.
US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
